r-bioc-qvalue software package provides GNU R package for Q-value estimation for FDR control, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install r-bioc-qvalue
r-bioc-qvalue is installed in your system.
Make ensure the r-bioc-qvalue package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep r-bioc-qvalue *
You will get with r-bioc-qvalue package name, version, architecture and description in a table
